Obituary for William G. "Tut" Kodosky
Kodosky, William G. “Tut” – 88 of Lilly, passed away on July 7, 2021 in Johnstown. He was born on August 24, 1932 in Jamestown, PA. He was the son of John and Helen (Repko) Kodosky. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, his wife: Thelma (Kearney) Kodosky and his brother Thomas “Tim” Kodosky. Bill is survived by his children: William G. Kodosky Jr. (Cheryl) of Parma Heights, OH; Patricia wife of Lawrence Riegling of Brooklyn, OH; Rebecca wife of Philip Campiri of Brooklyn, OH and Daniel Kodosky (Cindy) of Medina, OH. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren and his sister: Helen Leary of TX. Bill was a member of Our Lady of the Alleghenies Church in Lilly. He served his Country proudly as an Army Veteran in the Korean War. Bill loved the great outdoors. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He especially lived for turkey hunting. He and his family enjoyed spending many summers at Camp Kearney on Lilly Mountain. 505 Main Street, Lilly, PA 15938. Family will receive friends from 11:30 AM until time of Service at 1:30 PM on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at the Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home Inc. in Portage, Deacon Samuel Albrano. Committal will be held in St. Brigid Cemetery in Lilly. Graveside Military Rites by the Portage Ritual Team. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Bill’s name to the Lilly Volunteer Fire Company, 505 Main Street, PO Box 85, Lilly, PA 15938.
