Obituary for William T. Latoche

Latoche, William T. “Bill” – 81 of Lilly, passed away on January 9, 2025 in Ebensburg. He was born on December 18, 1943 in Lilly. He was the son of John and Anna (Sady) Latoche. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, Frank Latoche and Theresa Lingafelt and his brothers-in-law, Kurt Dell and Ed Gibson.


Bill is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 54 years, Joan “Cookie” (Moschgat) Latoche of Lilly and his siblings, Carrie Dell of Wilmore, John Latoche (Sara Jane) of Lilly, Genevieve Gibson of Jimtown, Lousie Krug (Paul) of Bellwood, David Latoche (Nancy) of Portage and Marion Zunich (Matt) of Portage. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws.


Bill was a U.S. Navy Vietnam Veteran. He was a retired welder from Lehman Machine Company in 2004. Bill was a member of Our Lady of the Alleghenies Church in Lilly. He was also a member of the Lilly American Legion and the Lilly GBU. Bill enjoyed going for walks, watching sports, gardening and the casinos.


Family and Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Friday, January 17th, 2025 at 11 AM at Our Lady of the Alleghenies Church in Lilly, Fr. Matthew Reese, Celebrant. Military Rites will be at the church by the local Veterans Organizations. Committal will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Bill’s name to the Alzheimers Association, 2835 E. Carson Street, Suite 200, Pittsburgh, PA 15203.
