Obituary for Susan Kunko
Kunko, Susan, 89, of Portage, passed away on October 21, 2016 in Portage. Born on August 13, 1927, to Vasil and Kathleen Stefanik Osipov, she was the last surviving member of her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Demetrius, John and Michael and sisters Ann and Sophie. She was the beloved spouse of Anthony R. Kunko for almost 70 years, devoted mother of Christine Jordanoff and husband, Alan Hoover of Pittsburgh, Elaine Kunko of West Chester, OH, and Richard Kunko and his wife, Debbie of Zanesville, OH; loving grandmother of Iliya Jordanoff and wife, Katie, Gregory Jordanoff, all of Pittsburgh, Allison Wenger and husband, Scott of Galloway, OH, Stephanie Fisher and husband, Mitch, of Franklin, OH, Andrew Kunko and partner Natalie Goodrich of Pittsburgh, Melissa Troutman and husband Scott, Brad Hoover, all of Pittsburgh; proud great grandmother to Lilyana Jordanoff, Rebecca Wenger and Sam, Luke, Thomas and Clara Troutman; caring aunt of numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Monday, October 24, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc. of Portage. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, October 25 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Portage, Fr. Kevin Queally, T.O.R. officiating. Commital in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Portage.
