Obituary for Benjamin M. Taylor
Benjamin M. – 32 of Lilly, Portage Township, passed away on January 27, 2017 at home. He was born on April 3, 1984 in Altoona. The son of James Taylor and Elizabeth Parsons. He is preceded in death by his grandfather: Reverend John Parsons and his cousin Nathaniel Keller.
He is survived by his parents, his daughter: Haley Taylor of Portage, grandmother: Mary Parsons of Lilly, sister: Leslie Taylor of Lilly and his nieces: Rebecca Pawvlek and Alianna Pagan of Lilly. Ben is also survived by his Aunts and Uncles: Martha wife of Eugene Bowser of Cresson, John Parsons and wife Alice of Lilly, John and Gay Wirrick of Lilly; his cousins: Jennifer, Jessica, Carlos, Athena, Lyana, Aleshia, Amanda, Tom, Jeremy, Amanda, Isabella, Melinda, Bruce, Melissa and Ricky and Ben’s girlfriend: Natalee Dryzal and many friends and extended family. Ben was a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and he loved to spend time with his family and friends.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 pm on Tuesday at the Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. of Portage, where a funeral service will be held that afternoon at 4 PM. Committal will be private to the family.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Decort Funeral Home Inc., 532 Main Street of Portage to assist with final expenses. On-line condolences may be made at www.decortfh.com
