Obituary for Muriel Jean Scarton
Scarton, Muriel Jean – 83 of Washington PA, formerly of Indiana, PA and Ohio, passed away on February 19, 2017 in Washington, PA. She was born on March 22, 1933 in La Jose, PA. She was the daughter of Norman and Octa (Spencer) Spaid.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Husband Marynard Scarton, infant daughter Angela J. and son Daniel M. Scarton and her brothers: Harold and Griff Spaid. She is survived by her son: David E. Scarton and wife Aggie (Pagac) of Washington, PA ; her grandchildren: Laura J. Scarton of Washington PA and David E. Scarton of Florida. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law: Judy Scarton of OH and a brother: Robert I. Spaid of Portage.
At Jean’s request there will be no viewing of visitation. Committal services will be held on Friday, February 24th at 11 AM at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in McMurray, PA. The Scarton family is being served by the Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. of Portage.
