Obituary for Frederick M. Stossel
Stossel, Frederick M. – 69 of Lilly, passed away on October 17th, 2020 in Johnstown. He was born on August 30th, 1951 in Altoona. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Margaret (Senkovich) Stossel. He is survived by his daughter: Amelia, wife of Ken Saunders and his grandson, Harrison Saunders, all of Australia. Frederick is also survived by his sisters: Geraldine wife of Lew Pratsch of Virginia and Bernice Stossel of Maryland; nephews: Craig Pratsch of California and Eric Pratsch of Colorado and an Aunt, Veronica Andrews of Florida and other extended family members and friends. Frederick was a graduate of Bishop Carroll Catholic High School and the Electronics Institute in Pittsburgh. He was considered very tech savvy and he enjoyed his computers. At the Family’s request there will be no viewing. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 21st, 2020 at 9 AM at Our Lady of the Alleghenies Church in Lilly, Fr. Matthew Reese, Celebrant. Committal will be private to the family. The Stossel family is being served by the Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home Inc. in Portage.
