Obituary for Patrick G. New, Sr.
77 of Cresson, passed away on January 1, 2021 in Altoona. He was born on October 12, 1943 in Ehrenfeld, PA. Patrick was the son of John and Elizabeth (Mills) New. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife: Mary Ellen (Arpino) New and his son Patrick G. New, Jr. and his daughter-in-law: Sharon. He is survived by his sons: John (Patty), Anthony (Jeannie), Mike, Greg, David (Sylvia) and Tim (Sue), grandchildren: Anthony, Andrew, Angela, Adam, David Jr., Alex, Emily, Tony, Allison, Lauren, Hanna, Hailey, Matthew and Aubrey. He is also survived by his sister, Jane and his sister-in-law: Naomi. Patrick served his Country in the PA National Guard. He was retired with over 43 years as a produce supervisor for Riverside and Bilo Markets. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8PM on Thursday and from noon until time of Funeral Service at 2PM on Friday at the Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Portage.
