McDonald, Jeannette I. - 91 of Johnstown, passed away on March 5, 2021 in Johnstown. She was born on July 5, 1929 in Ina, Illinois. Jeannette is preceded in death by her parents, former husband and father of her children: Arthur M. Coleman, her daughter Cheryl Coleman and her siblings: Gerald, Gary, Carl and Juanita. She is survived by her daughters: Gloria Coleman of Johnstown, PA and Cynthia Coleman of Mount Vernon, IN. She is also survived by her sister: Phyles Cox of TN. Jeannette was a talented artist and singer. She especially enjoyed pencil, sketch, portraits. She was a retired nurse’s aide with over 20 years of service at the Atrium Manor in Johnstown. At the Family’s request there will be no viewing, visitation or services. Memorial contributions may be made in Jeannette’s name to the Cambria County Humane Society, 743 Galleria Drive Ext., Johnstown, PA 15904. Jeannette’s daughters would like to give a special thank you to the Staff at Laurel Wood Care Center and to Crystal and Martina and Grane Hospice for the excellent care, compassion and companionship that they had given to Jeannette.
