Obituary for Kimberly J. Maul
Maul, Kimberly J. - 54 of Portage, passed away of June 13, 2021 at Conemaugh Hospital in Johnstown. She was born on June 28, 1966 in Johnstown. Kim was the daughter of Gladys (Causer) and Merle Thomas. She is preceded in death by her mother.
Kim is survived by father Merle of Portage, her loving husband Bill Maul of Portage and her children: Stephanie Thomas of Portage, Candace Gray of Portage, Heather wife of Jarod Pollock of Salix and Cory Maul of Portage, her grandchildren: Gavin, Skyliegh, Brayliegh, Gabriel and Xander. Kim was the sister of Becky wife of Andy Toath of Windber, Dan Thomas and wife Jeanine of AR, Tim Thomas and wife Kathy of RI, Carol wife of Terry Douglas of Portage and John Thomas and wife Sherry of Portage. She is also survived by her Mother and Father-In-Law: Walter “Jeep” and Myrna Maul of Portage, brothers-in-law: Kenneth Maul and wife Sheila of Spring City, PA, Rodger Maul of Portage and her sisters-in-law: Sherry wife of Ronald Cadwallader and Shelly wife of Jamie Cadwallader and a special friend: Judy Kowalski of Portage and her faithful canine companion Rusty.
Kim was a 1984 graduate of Portage Area Highschool. She was a former school bus driver and formerly employed by Allstate and Nationwide Insurance. Kim loved spending time with her family, especially on trips to the beach. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, lifetime movies and crafting with her grandchildren. Kim always looked forward to camping with her family and making mountain pies every summer.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 8 PM on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at the Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. in Portage, where a Funeral Service will be held at 10 AM on Friday, June 18, 2021, Pastor Mark Fischer.
