Kmiecik, Ann E. "Honey" - 89 of Portage. Passed away November 22, 2014 at Maple Winds Care Center in Portage. Born February 10, 1925 in Jamestown. The daughter of the late Lloyd and Anna (Starchville) Zock. Preceded in death by parents, son Stephen and brothers: Lloyd, Jr., Thomas, Philip, Joseph and Henry. Survived by daughters: Claudia wife of Terry Spittal of Salix; Susanna wife of Harry "Manny" Maul of Lilly and Lori wife of David Schultz of Northborough, MA. Grandchildren: Danielle (Spittal) wife of Rob Brezovec of Etters, PA, Kerry Spittal of Salix, Kelly (Maul) wife of Pat McCarty of Portage, and Kurt, Kevin and Carly Schultz of Northborough, MA. Great grandchildren: Zack and Justin Brezovec and Kylee, Patrick and Kiera McCarty. Also survived by sister; Leona Farren of Dollar Bay, MI and special sister in law; Barbara Zock of Erie, PA. Honey was a retired employee of the former K&B Sportsware in Portage where she worked for many years. She was an avid Steelers and Penn State Football fan. She enjoyed sitting on her porch, doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles and her lottery scratch off tickets. Most of all Honey will be remember for her wonderful sense of humor. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM on Tuesday at the Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., where a vigil service will be held that evening. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, Mountain Avenue, Portage, Fr. Andrew Draper, Celebrant. Committal to follow church services at St. Marys Cemetery, Portage. The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Maple Winds Care Center for all their love and support that they have shown for Ann for the past 4 years.
